ACDBA Data Snapshot - FY2021 Industry Demographics

Since ACDBA was formed, members have participated in an annual Data Survey.  A Data Snapshot was released today publishing useful metrics of the aggregated Australian collections industry demographics.

Services Australia Tender: External Debt Collection Agents

A recent media article about a tender for debt management services to supplement the internal activities of Services Australia in managing and collecting debt owed to the Commonwealth suggested successful tenderers “must continuously compete to beat rigorous financial targets for recovering money from customers”.

Measuring performance is integral to the success of any outsourced arrangement particularly in this case for Services Australia and its customers, many of whom may be in vulnerable situations.

ACDBA has made the reluctant decision to postpone the 2020 Debt Forum in light of the unprecedented and fast changing nature of the COVID-19 situation as the safety of delegates, partners and staff was our highest priority.
